Laserex is an ISO 9001:2015 Qulaity Assured Company.  Recent amendments by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) require organisations to address climate change within their organisation and its impact on the environment.  Laserex has the following measures in place.

Laserex is committed to the issues effecting climate change and the impact this has on the environment.  To that end, conscious effort is made to reduce waste as well as reuse / recycle materials during the manufacturing process. Renewables are used and many of the components are fully recyclable.

Energy consumption is minimised, so that the company’s carbon footprint is as low as possible. This includes using LED lights, having a recycling bin in the office, reusing cardboard boxes and packaging in general.  Products can be recycled post use eg aluminium housings and glass lenses used in the laser modules. Re-chargeable batteries and lead free solder also reduce emissions.

Products are designed to be reliable and long-lasting, reducing the need for regular replacements.  Laserex promotes the use of environmentally responsible materials, technologies, and practices that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support the transition to a low-carbon economy.

Laserex is committed to ensuring that stakeholder requirements are met. Laserex is RoHS compliant.  A certificate of RoHS compliance is available upon request.  RoHS aims to minimize the environmental impact of electronic waste by reducing the presence of hazardous materials that can contaminate landfills and pollute the environment.

Laserex provides information to customers regarding REACH.  By controlling toxic emissions and waste, REACH can reduce the carbon footprint of chemicals.  This assists with restricting substances that are harmful to the environment.
