Advantages of VetLaser 3000

There are many advantages of the VetLaser 3000 compared to other products available on the market.

The VetLaser 3000 is a portable, handheld cold laser therapy unit that operates of re-chargeable batteries.  This overcomes the negative features of bulky desk-top systems that can only be used in an office but not in a barn or kennel.

The VetLaser 3000 comes in a rugged case with a foam insert allowing for easy transportation of the product.  This is handy when one is travelling from track to track.  The attractive foam insert provides protection for all components eg handle, head, laser safety eye wear etc.

Class 3B Cold Laser

The versatile nature of the VetLaser 3000 allows for heads (Single or Cluster) to be used interchangeably off the same handle.  The heads can be Infrared (IR) or Visible wavelengths.  This allows one to initially begin using the VetLaser 3000 with one head and then upgrading the unit in future with the addition of another.

Class 3B

Research  indicates that Class 3B lasers are the most effective in penetrating deep into muscle tissue (5cm for IR lasers) , providing rapid pain relief. Class 3B lasers are cold lasers and hence do not heat tissue.  On the other hand, Class 4 lasers have the ability to burn if used incorrectly.

Continuous Wave and Pulsing Frequencies

The VetLaser 3000 operates in Continuous Wave as well as 7 Pulsed Nogier frequencies (73Hz-4672Hz).  Nogier carried out extensive research on Auricular therapy and came up with a series of frequencies that help heal the body.  This is another added advantage of the unit as some laser therapy products are only available with Continuous wave frequency.

The VetLaser 3000 allows for the storage of 14 dosages (in Joules) into the unit’s memory.  This feature allows one to store a series of treatment protocols into the unit’s memory and then quickly find and enter the selected dosage for use.

Being a Class 3B laser, Low Levels of Laser Therapy are all that is required for treatments.  These can be in the vicinity of 3-6 Joules, but can be increased if required.
