Laserex Technologies- The Leading Light in Class 3B Laser Therapy
Photobiomodulation
Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), often referred to as photobiomodulation or laser biostimulation reduces inflammation and increases healing.
As the VetLaser 3000 is a Class 3B Cold Laser Therapy unit with <500mW output power, it does not heat or burn the skin when used. LLLT is similar in many regards to photosynthesis in plants, where sunlight produces energy thereby reacting with cells and allowing it to grow.
During photobiomodulation therapy, mitochondria absorb infrared and red photons produced by the laser light resulting in an increase in energy improving cells and reducing stress.
Endre Mester
The Hungarian scientist and professor Endre Mester performed tests on mice using laser therapy in 1967. By accident he found that after the hairs were shaved off the mice’s backs, the hair grew back more quickly in the group treated with a laser than the one that was in the control group.

Photobiomodulation therapy improves the quality and rate at which tissue is repaired, inducing analgesia and reducing inflammation.
Harvard Medical School & NASA
Since then respected researches at Harvard Medical School as well as NASA have investigated the benefits of using Low Level Laser Therapy to treat injuries with the technology becoming used and accepted around the world as people learn of the great benefits obtained using this therapy.
